Capital O Posada La Casa De La Tia, Oaxaca

Nice hotel in the downtown of the city, at a few minutes walking distance from the main tourist objectives. The breakfast was not included in my room rate; it was a bit expensive but good. Nice restaurant in the patio, silent and not crowded. The water in the shower was hot and with good pressure. The staff was friendly and great! Although they didn't speak English (while I don't speak Spanish) we could finally understand each other. Communication issues are part of cultural experience, aren't they?

I arrived from a long trip at night, and the staff was really friendly to us when we arrived. The bedroom was on the ground floor, so it was no problem with the suitcases. There is a beautiful bugambilia tree, and luckily we could watch a colibri in the morning. The bed sheets and towels smelled really nice thanks to their laundry soap.

The location of the hotel was excellent, just a few blocks from Zocalo. The room was big and cleaned every day. It had a nice bed, which was slightly firm, but not uncomfortable. The wifi worked really well and the room came with cable tv. The hotel is very secure with the gates locked at night. Shower was decent and had hot water. I would stay here again purely for the location. The staff members that I dealt with were polite and helpful.

The staff was excellent, the fan was strong and the location is perfect.

Great location. Room included a private bathroom. Staff was friendly and allowed to practice my Spanish them. Restaurant / cafe on site with reasonable prices.
